With people already in a pseudo festive mood, I have the pleasure of announcing that the Blah, Blah! Technology ‘blog turns 3 today!
3 years and counting…
As a ‘blogger, 3 years is a serious milestone. Many start, but few make it this far. So that places this ‘blog amongst a very select crowd.
Of course, it’s not been all plain sailing, but the breeze has recently been tamed and while the waters aren’t exactly as calm as a mill pond, the doldrums are now but a distant memory.
And it’s all thanks to you guys, so thank you!
Writers 3 are we — the trinity
I’d like to welcome on board Andy MacDonald. He offered his services a few weeks ago and his most recent article is his first. Andy will mainly be discussing issues SEO-ish, but I’m sure he’ll be stretching his ‘blogging muscle on other topics, too.
So including Kate and myself, there are now 3 of us writing.
To allay any fears, I’m not going anywhere, nor do I plan on writing any less than I already do.
So with me playing father to Andy’s son, making his debut here on Blah, meanwhile, Kate’s busy ghosting around the Mediterranean on a pilgrimage of sorts, spreading the word of the family business.
Share the occasion with 3 of the best!
Since it’s such a special occasion, here’s an offer you can’t (OK, you can, but it’d be supercool if you didn’t) refuse — why not suggest the Blah, Blah! Technology ‘blog to 3 friends who you know are into technology trends, ‘n’ stuff?
And here’s 3 different ways you can do just that:
- Go to the Blah, Blah! Technology Page on Facebook and click the “Share with Friends” button in the top right.
- Scroll down to the footer of this article and click the blue “Email This” button.
- If you’re on StumbleUpon, click on the “Send to” button and tap out a message to 3 of your friends.
How’s that for sharing, eh?
The future of Blah, Blah! Technology
I’ll soon be rolling out a few changes to the ‘blog, which I hope you’ll love. The emphasis has always been on the clarity of the design, so that’s where the focus will be, only this time, there’s going to be an added emphasis on discovery, too.
As you’ll have seen from my recent articles, I’ve really stepped up the pace, writing across the whole gamut of trends in different technologies, converging technologies and “What if?” exploratory scientific discussions. That will remain a theme.
And as for the long-term aim, well that’s simple — I want Blah to become a serious venue for the discussion of technology trends, science, social media & networking, design, SEO & search technology, business and just about anything else I feel my “What if?” Engine can handle, once it’s in gear.
BTW, Kate’s got something lined up for Monday, so stay tuned, OK?
No, I’m not telling what it is, either. You’ll just have to wait and see…
