You may be interested in a newly launched UK based social networking website called Foom.

Foom is about people who go out, so it has a real group page (foomspot) for almost every location, business and organisation in the UK. Foom has cool friend making and flirting features. Foom connects you with people from your favourite bars, pubs and clubs or from where you work or go to college.

Nice post. Seeing as that there are now so many social networks catering to such a wide range of niches, my biggest problem is finding ones relevant to me and related to my specific interests or product niches. Google seems to be inefficient and returns alot of irrelevant results. A cool resource that I use is a search engine designed specifically to find a social networks called, literally — Find A Social Network!
