My top 7 environmental sci-tech articles on Blah

When we talk about the environment, we really mean our environment. And the saviour of our environment is, ironically, the very same thing that in many respects imperiled it in the first place — our application of science & technology…

As we edge further into the 21st century, there’s no escaping the fact that the future of our environment hinges on our increasing technological development.

Environment. Science / Technology. Future

George W. Bush, president of the United States of America is not known for his pearls of insight & wisdom, once said:

“Technology is the ticket, is this nation’s ticket to greater energy independence.”

Which, on the face of it might seem like a cheap get-out, disposable comment. But he’s right. For once. And technology is not just the panacea of Americas ills, but of the whole world, too.

The colour of success is a paler shade of green

We now measure our successes and achievements, not merely on their material or monetary gains, nor even for their greater social impact, but also by their benefit to our environment, or their reduced impact.

I’m a great believer in technology as an enabler, hopefully of greater and greener things. As such, here are my top 7 environment sci-tech articles:
