Hi Katie!

There's a generous cross-over between topics. One such example would be The future of Social Networks which covers Social Networking (obviously), as well as elements of Personal Branding.

I have a guest post by security specialist Paul Maloney, called The business of Social Network Profiles which is a discussion on Reputation Management from a business security and privacy perspective.

Personal favourites of mine would 10 Personal Branding habits of the pros and Manage personal brand like a porn star.

In the realm of SEO and Social Media, there's the linkbaitified SEO compendium CLICK HERE For Instant SEO!, Social Media, Social Networking and SEO demystified, the very popular Google Sitelinks explained, as well as the sadly inflammatory yet relevant Business websites: SEO versus Social Media trilogy.

Speaking of inflamatory, there's Google's search information paradox, the controversial duo of Social Media to kill Google's search algorithm? & Google doesn't get Social Media, and the engaging What search engines really, really want from your website!

And that's only a small selection of the popular — there are literally hundreds more.

Speak soon and thanks again...

Brian and Katie, thanks for your comments, guys.

I think the consumer gets rough deal. Just look at the huge amount of waste packaging we get with our weekly trip to the supermarket, or when we buy a new TV.

This shouldn't be the burden of the consumer. The businesses that produce the goods we buy should use better packaging and more recyclable materials.

Many has been the time when I've had to explain to an eager client that I might not give them what they want, but I will be giving them what they need.

So there's no excuse for just giving us what we want. As consumers, we have little understanding of what the alternatives are.

Katie, I've just paid a visit to your website. I've written tons of stuff on brand management, SEO and social media marketing. I'd be delighted if you'd have a look around and let me know what you think.

Great post on not putting all blame on social responsibilty of consumers. More products need to be on the market that follow criteria like kinetic recharging. I love that idea!

I work on behalf of SHARP, which has invested a large amount of time and money into solar energy. A large focus for the company is creating innovative products that save energy, instead of continuing to clutter the environment. As more companies continue to expand on environmentally conscious products, I believe consumers will take social responsibility and update their technology.

A very poignant post Wayne. This is something that's been on my mind a lot lately, and I don't really consider myself a gadget freak by any means.

An hour or so of Bluetooth/WiFi use during the day really eats into the batteries, meaning a top-up is almost always required if I'm to make it through the next day.
