Yet more Google Analytics feedback
Thursday, 24 May 2007 — by Wayne Smallman
I did actually forget an idea I had for Google Analytics the first time around. Which is just as well, really, given the torrent of ideas I’m bombarded Google with so far.
“I’d also like to be able to add flags (or way points) to the Visits / Page Views graph in the Dashboard.
These flags could have notes associated with them, allowing me to add in events, such as campaigns, that were initiated on that day.
Maybe even tie in with Google Calendar events?”
But then what about the notes for the events being stored as Google Notepad items, too?
Damn. Forgot to send that idea as well…

Great idea Wayne. I’d be interested in seeing something like this get implemented too. I’m not a user of Google Calendar or Notebook, but I can also appreciate the integration with those two modules.
Out of interest, when you send in your ideas, what kind of response do you get from Google?
