Wayne’s weekly wrap-up: Hola!

Saturday, 7 April 2007 — by Wayne Smallman

As the more seasoned followers of Blah, Blah! Technology will attest, I like to periodically welcome all of my new readers.

My news subscription has gone up by a fifth in the past week and a half, so there’s more people tuning in.

To you, firstly I would like to thank you. And secondly, I want to say hello!

You find my links so scrummily Del.icio.us!

One of the top reads from my news feed is the links I unearth and collate through my Del.icio.us account. This, you appear to enjoy.

That’s OK, I don’t mind finding stuff for you. Just strap a damn broom to my back and I’ll sweep the floor while I’m at it, eh?!

Here’s an excerpt from my ‘blog SEO & SEM diary, which I plan to turn into a ‘blog all its own at some point:

Looks like my Netvibes review has driven up subscribers to my news from the Netvibes website.

Also, since posting my Blah, Blah! Technology Live news feed, the number of subscribers coming in from Yahoo! has increased, too.

Also, an article of mine entitled: “Mobile you, me .. mobile everyone…” has got me a back-link from an official Google ‘blog, the same one that I linked to in my own article.

Earlier, I got a Skype message from Carl pointing to an O’Reilly article on GeoRSS / KML, and the new Google MyMaps.

I’m hoping this new interest in GeoRSS / KML will combined with the Google back-link will drive in some traffic to my ‘blog.”

As always, thank you for your time, patience and silent appreciation…
